Technics is an ideal subject for students who are interested in innovative practical work and developing lifelong skills.

Technics offers five areas of study. They are:

• Building Construction looks at woodworking and skills used in house building.
• Farm Maintenance (metalwork) looks at metal fabrication and skills used in the metal fabrication.
• Electronics looks at basic electronic skills and how these skills are used in everyday activity.
• Automotive looks at different forms of power and how this power is used.
• Leatherwork explores traditional skills used in leathermaking.
