information
The aim of Economics is to develop the knowledge, understanding, skills,
values and attitudes of students for effective economic thinking. In this
way they will be able to contribute to socially responsible, competent economic
decision making in a changing economy.
Through a study of Economics, students will develop knowledge and
understanding about:
- the economic behaviour of individuals, firms, institutions and governments
- the function and operation of markets
- the operation and management of economies
- contemporary economic problems and issues facing individuals, firms and governments
