Introduction
These interactive units are designed to help you use the Internet more effectively in your research. The focus is Internet searching. For that reason we only mention briefly other resources that can be found in the Distance Education Library or your local library. You should check these out as well. The Web holds only a fraction of the material available on any one subject.
Navigating the units
The menu in the left column on this page lists the different units in this website. By holding your mouse over a title you can see the various sections of a unit. From these you can choose the section you wish to go to. You can also access the units directly by clicking on the graphics in the diagram.
There is no set order in which you approach the units.
