Can I have a list of everything you've got in the Library?
Sorry, no. We don't have such a list, but we can run off computer lists for you on almost any area of interest or any topic. Just let us know the subject or the author you're interested in.
I need some material for a project in a hurry. Can you help?
Ring us and give us the details. If the material is available we'll send it to you the next day.
Do you have a video on........?
Again give us a ring, or if that's not convenient, email or write. If you ring we can check in the computer catalogue straight away. We can also send you our Video Catalogue if you haven't already got one.
I borrowed a book some time ago and I'm not sure where it is.
These things happen. It's probably under a pile of other books, or lent to a friend. We'll extend the loan period to give you a chance to find it.
I haven't finished listening to "Witch Bank?" on audiocassette. Can I have it for longer?
Yes, we renew items for another four weeks if you let us know, except where the book or video has been reserved by another student.
I can't seem to get motivated and I need some help with essay writing.
We can send you a video and/or a book on how to write essays, and some excellent material on study skills.
Do you have anything on raw foods?
We didn't, but we bought something because it was a worthwhile addition to our resources on food and cookery. Quite a few of our purchases are the result of student requests.
I asked for this CD-ROM ages ago, and it hasn't arrived. What's happened?
We're not perfect, Australia Post isn't perfect. If there is a problem, let us know and we can make enquiries and (hopefully) make sure the material gets to you.
Your book on how to look after guinea pigs was just what I wanted. Can you tell me where I can get a copy for myself?
We can usually help on this kind of query, as we keep details of where we bought the book and the price.
