- Australian Catholic University scholarship offered by Broken
Bay Diocesan Council of the Society of St Vincent de Paul. The University
has a North Sydney and Strathfield Campus. To be eligible for a
scholarship a student must:
o be an Aborigine or Torres Strait Islander
o provide evidence of financial need
o have completed all components of the first year of the course,
or equivalent
o display commitment to using his/her qualifications to work for
the betterment of the Indigenous community

- The Australian Medical Association (AMA) is sponsoring two scholarships
for Indigenous medical students in 2004 with the assistance of the
Indigenous Peoples Medical Scholarship Trust Fund.
Applications are invited from Indigenous medical students for 2
scholarships valued at $9,000 per annum. Applications close on October
31.
