Excursions 2001

History Lessons

Despite the threatening skies and forecasts of rain, history students, their parents and their teachers met at Circular Quay on March 9, 2001 to learn more about Sydney. The day was spent discovering monuments and relics of early Sydney, examining the writers' walk along the Quay and exploring Fort Denison.

Here we are standing in front of the anchor from HMS Sirius, the flag ship of the First Fleet.

Important note for those doing the "virtual excursion":

Please print out the questions on the next page to make your notes as you go through. You will then have the information for the exercise you will be sending your teacher.
