Bathsheba Ghost
by
Brendan

The story starts with four teenagers getting a dare from a friend. The stipulation of the dare is to stay in the grave yard for two nights with a limited amount of food also knowing the story about Bathsheba Ghost. To complete the dare they had to stay there until 12.00 on the third day.

It's been four days now and the four kids have not returned yet, but on the fifth day only one came back but she was almost insane. Her clothes all ripped, she had cuts and bruses, hair all dirty and bloody, but no one could understand what she was saying. So later she died of shock orn the way to the hospital and they did find out what she was saying it was 'Bathesheba Ghost' in a long forgotten language, that only a few knew. No one knew where or how she got like that on her last day.

Sergeant Fred Warner

It was near the end of the war. We were trying to drown our sorrows 'cause our Serge Great Guy saved hides several times. Anyway, during a fire fight today at Bullecourt a strange thing happened. A shell hit our hull. Only one who died was the Serge. You know what they say: 'there's a bullet with your name on it there. If it finds you there ain't nothing you can do about it'

Anyway me and the boys were drinking our fifth or sixth toast to the Serge. I went out to take a break and I saw a young an just staring at the moon. I saw the three stripes of a sergeant - then I saw his tag it said Warner. I started back to the tent ... I looked again and he was gone. Till this day Idon't know whether I was drunk or it really was the Serge.
